ATTENDANCE and PARTICIPATION

What is the orientation phase?
There will be a 1-week orientation phase that includes welcoming you to the program and taking you on a virtual tour around the online Bootcamp. You will learn the best practices to access the online platform, where to find online resources, and about your learning materials (and how to use them). We will walk you through the program calendar and schedule and we will discuss the expectations you have from the boot camp and what we expect from you during the whole program duration. You will also get to know your mentor(s) and other participants.
Am I required to join the live orientation session?
We highly recommend that you join the live orientation session because these sessions are designed to answer all your questions before we start and to prepare you emotionally and mentally for the actual Bootcamp. Furthermore, it is during the orientation phase that you start getting to know other participants and begin building relationships and camaraderie. However, if you can’t join us live, you will still be able to go through the orientation process by yourself by watching the recorded orientation session.
How much time do I need to commit to the whole program?

Suppose you plan to work through the live Bootcamp in real-time – in this case, we recommend between 2-4 hours per week to join the live session, watch (and re-watch) the training, complete your assignments and exercises and — if you’d like — engage with your mentors, other participants, and the community.

If you’re not able to dedicate that much time, don’t worry. You get 1-year access to the program and can work at your own pace, on your schedule.

We understand that most of you are full-time college or university students or have full-time jobs or businesses and families. This Bootcamp is designed to stretch you, but it can also be customized to your life.

The more focus and dedication you put into this Bootcamp, the more you’ll get out of it. Other factors that affect how much time you’ll need to complete the program:

  1. Your overall clarity and how quickly you make decisions
  2. Your comfort level with basic technology
  3. Your participation in the community discussions and conversations (recommended but optional)
  4. Your coursework completion (whether you choose to complete every exercise)
What will I learn?
We outline the program breakdown here.

Please bear in mind that the value you get from this Bootcamp doesn’t lie in the videos or learning materials that we’ll provide to you during the duration of the program. The fact is all the information you could ever need to become a successful entrepreneur and a great leader is available for free online, right now. The most important thing is that you’re aware of what you need to know.

And that is what this Bootcamp is all about. Our mentors and community will guide you step-by-step in figuring out what you need to know and how to best use the available information right in front of you. This Bootcamp is an experience. It’s action-oriented and intense. It’s about doing the work, being seen for who you are, leveraging your unique gifts and getting challenged to grow into your full potential. The real value is in the skills and capabilities you’ll develop, the risks you’ll take and the relationships you’ll build.

What happens if I miss a class?
Students are advised to attend or watch the recordings for ALL classes. The program is structured so that each lesson builds on the next.

Also take note that while you have 1-year access to the program even after the live Bootcamp, you’ll only get your certificate if you complete all of the program coursework.
